alan turing was absolutely amazing, no doubt...
anathematic: but it pisses me off a bit when people call him the “father of computer science”. just for the record, lady ada lovelace, the first programmer, was born 97 years before him, and grace hopper, another prolific computer scientist, was born 9 years before him. most certainly give respect where it’s due (and a lot is due to turing, both for his genius and for the atrocities visited...
